请问在Rest软件包中提供的mask为什么要卡阈值

老师：
在Rest软件包中提供的全脑、白质和CSF的mask都卡了阈值，请问为什么要卡阈值，以及为什么卡的阈值分别为50%，90%和70%，请问有什么依据吗？卡过不同阈值的mask之间加减运算有意义吗？
如果要做一个灰质mask，是否可以用rest软件包中的“BrainMask_05_61x73x61”-“CsfMask_07_61x73x61”-“WhiteMask_09_61x73x61”得到？得到的结果是卡过多少阈值的灰质mask呢？ 谢谢
